Cerebral Palsy Scotland are seeking a Senior Fundraising Officer to support all aspects of our fundraising, events and communications. You will join a small but dynamic team, working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to generate income through our Individual Giving, Community Fundraising, Major Donor, Corporate Partner and Trusts & Foundations programmes.

You will be helping change the lives of people in Scotland with cerebral palsy and their families and you will support the charity in sourcing sustainable income, delivering excellent supporter care, and producing engaging communications for all internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of working within a Fundraising department in the third sector and a demonstrable track record of raising significant income as part of a wider team.

You will drive excellence in care provision through both core responsibilities and a specialist focus on complex care. Key Responsibilities:

Specialist Focus: Complex Care

• Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Leadership: Lead the development and embedding of PBS values and practices across our community.
• Inclusive Communication: Promote and embed inclusive communication approaches (e.g., Makaton, PECS, Talking Mats) across our community.
• Health-Focused Care Management: Ensure health protocols for specific needs (e.g., epilepsy, diabetes) are in place, reviewed, and monitored.
• Promoting Healthy Relationships: Facilitate inclusive conversations around relationships, sexuality, and personal safety.
• Admissions and Transitions: Lead the planning, implementation, and review of admissions and transitions across residential and day services.

Qualifications:

• Essential: SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, evidence of continuous professional development, and a commitment to further learning.
• Desirable: Degree in Social Work, Health & Social Care, or a related field, and management or leadership qualifications.

Experience and Skills:

• Essential: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role, demonstrable experience in specialist focus areas within a social care setting, and strong knowledge of legislation and good practice in adult social care.
• Desirable: Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and knowledge of Camphill community values and ethos.

We’re currently looking for Community Living Assistants to join our dedicated team in our West of Scotland Housing Support & Care at Home Services, working across Glasgow, Renfrewshire, and East Renfrewshire.

What You’ll Do

As a Community Living Assistant, you’ll support adults with a range of disabilities who require 24-hour care in their own homes and out in the community. Support is provided on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis, depending on individual needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with personal care, dressing, medication, and communication
• Supporting with meals and daily routines
• Accompanying individuals to college, appointments, and social activities
• Helping customers engage in recreational and leisure pursuits that matter to them

What you need to know

Hours: 20 & 30 hours as below. We have 3 positions available. Due to customer choice for intimate care, our remaining vacancies are gender specific. * Schedule 9 Part 1 (1)(1)(a) of the Equality Act 2010 applies (GOR)

We provide care 24/7 and we seek applications from people with a flexible approach to working, working a mix of early and late shifts, including evenings and weekends.

• Female only - 30 hours, between the hours of 10.30am - 8.30 pm, rotational – Driver (manual) Haghill (G31) area
• Female only – 30 hours, rotational day, back and nightshifts – driver (manual) Renfrew (PA4) area
• Male only – 20 hours, between 8am-5pm with occasional evening shifts – driver (manual) Maryhill (G20) area
• Experience - Essential

Location: Haghill (G31), Renfrew (PA4) and Maryhill (G20) . The role involves supporting people in their own home to manage their own tenancy, as well as community based support.

Driving licence (manual vehicles) is essential for this role - due to the location of our customers and their support needs. If you do need to go out and about with our customer, for that dinner or cinema trip, your costs are covered.
