We are currently seeking a skilled individual to act as the Treasurer on our Board of Trustees. Key Responsibilities:
- High-level Financial Oversight: Review financial reports and monitor the organisation’s financial stability
- Board Communication: Keep the board informed about financial matters and update them of the organisation’s financial health
- Budget Oversight: Provide oversight and input to the annual budgeting process
- Annual Statutory Accounts: Assist in the preparation, review and approval of the annual statutory accounts
- Flagging Issues: The Treasurer should be capable of identifying and isolating financial issues, even if they are minor, and raising flags when necessary
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Professional: Ideally with a career background as a Financial Director or Financial Controller or similar (e.g. financial services)
- Confident Communicator: Able to inspire confidence, provide reassurance and communicate financial matters clearly to fellow Board members whose strengths may not include numeracy
- Strategic Thinker: Someone who can provide high-level oversight and has a keen eye for detail
- Familiarity with Charity Finance: Understanding of charity finance issues and governance, though specific software experience (e.g., XERO) is not required

Commitment
- 6-weekly Meetings: Mondays 1.00pm - 2.30pm in person / via Teams

Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a compassionate and effective leader who can engage, inspire, and support others. You should have experience in adult social care, excellent communication skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving. You’ll bring:
- Experience in adult social care: You should have an SVQ 4 in Health and Social care, or be willing to work towards this, as well as experience leading or supporting teams in social care, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities this role brings
- Leadership skills: You’re a supportive leader - approachable, adaptable, and able to empower your team, especially during times of change or challenge
- Problem-solving: Strong critical thinking and the ability to find solutions that make a positive impact on the people we support and your team
- Knowledge of the sector: A solid understanding of the Scottish Social Care sector, including regulatory bodies such as the Care Inspectorate and SSSC

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Property Maintenance Administrator to support the Corporate Services Manager in maintaining and improving the Trust’s properties across Edinburgh.
This is a hands-on role involving inspections, repairs, coordination with contractors, and leading on Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) matters. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our spaces are safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose for young people, tenants, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine inspections and carry out reactive and planned maintenance.
• Coordinate facility jobs and liaise with external contractors.
• Support void maintenance to prepare rooms for new occupants.
• Lead on HSE compliance and implementation across the Trust.
• Assist with property strategy including buying, selling, or repurposing properties.
• Engage with tenants and young people to ensure understanding of property responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and building regulations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A valid driving licence is preferable due to travel requirements.

About the role
As the Registered Manager, you will be an experienced leader leading a team working with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
As the Registered Manager you will:
- Maintain the continuing relevance of services to individuals’ needs and purchaser requirements by ongoing planning, monitoring and evaluation.
- Oversee the financial aspects of the service, managing significant budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and making financial decisions.
- Where a need or an opportunity is identified, lead on the development of new services, support business growth and maintain reputational excellence.
- Comply with governance, law and legislation including local authority compliance, Care Inspectorate (at level 5 and above), SSSC and safeguarding procedures.
- Support the senior management team in the streamlining, promotion and monitoring of quality assurance systems which meets the needs of individual services as well as the overall service delivery in the region.
- Develop, monitor and implement supervision and appraisal systems for staff.
About You
You will have passion and drive to take forward a well-established Service and Team. Be passionate; and committed to the overall aims and objectives of the service and have the belief that people can live fulfilling lives with the right support in place.
You should also have:
- Experience of working with vulnerable people and leading a service delivery team, including managing the provision of a safe operating environment in a relevant context.
- The ability to negotiate with a wide range of internal and external partners and build positive relationships including local authorities and housing associations.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload to meet a number of different and competing tasks in sometimes pressurised environment.
- Social Service and Health Care at level 9 (SCQF) or other speciality/qualification recognised by the SSSC for registration purposes as well as a relevant management qualification.
