Friendship Changing Lives Project
Dunfermline Advocacy has an exciting opportunity to join our staff team in 2025, and to support our work developing our Friendship Changing Lives Project. Dunfermline Advocacy was established in 1992 and has been supporting Citizen Advocacy for vulnerable people in West Fife for over 30 years.
This project supports vulnerable adults and older people in West Fife who require and would benefit from relationship based advocacy support, Citizen Advocacy, to realise their rights and to tackle loneliness and isolation.
We are seeking a new Development Worker who will be responsible for recruiting local volunteers, facilitating and supporting ordinary connections and friendships between vulnerable people and local people, aiming to build sustainable long-term friendships that change lives.
The successful candidate will also undertake work supporting the Chief Executive to source and apply for funding to continue the work of the Friendship Changing Lives Project and to support the maintenance and sustainable growth of the wider organisation
The post is for a fixed term of 9 months in the first instance, with the intention to extend subject to funding.
Part time (28 hours per week) £22, 186 (£27, 733 FTE)
