The Team Leader will be based in our ROADS (Recovery Out of Alcohol and Drug Support) service in South Ayrshire which provides emotional and practical support to clients before they go into a residential rehabilitation service, during their stay, and after they've completed their placement.
All of our staff have lived, or working
experience of residential rehabilitation. They are closely linked to the local areas, and have extensive
knowledge of recovery communities, support groups and wider services.The ROADS team can also offer
support to families, carers and children of individuals who are going to long-term residential rehabilitation.
The service is delivered in partnership with WithYou, Recovery Ayr and Barnardos.
As Team Leader you will directly link in to
the Service Manager, as well as working collaboratively with other Team Leaders, Operations Managersand our partner organisations, to ensure clear communication and meet the delivery needs of this
service to support our clients to achieve positive outcomes.
You will be responsible for collaboratively
leading a WithYou team to deliver a high level of performance by meeting targets and KPI’s set to ensure we are
providing the best service to our clients and improve treatment outcomes, whilst creating a supportive and
inclusive environment for our staff team.
This post requires excellent leadership
skills to work innovatively and confidently. You will support staff in high performing recovery work, overseeing
quality assurance and safeguarding, with the capacity to work within competing demands and tight
timescales.

Managing and developing your team to reach its full potential will be key to your success and will be your passion.
You will motivate your team to deliver exceptional services to those we support and will have the ability to
connect quickly with both staff and service users, treating them respectfully and with dignity. This is a busy
team, with multiple priorities ongoing, so it’s important that you are highly organised and able to manage your
time effectively.
You and your team will be responsible for delivering against targets, always ensuring the service is complying with
all of the necessary requirements that arise from working in a social care setting. There'll be data
analysis and administration tasks to deal with too, but that's all part of this busy and varied job that you
take in your stride.
It is essential you have a full driving licence and preferably you have access to a car as you will be
responsible for transporting clients to and from rehab.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with an inspiring and engaging
approach.
