Youth Vision is a charity that works with young people from South West, Edinburgh that are struggling with formal
education, or are excluded from school, and are not engaged in training, or employment.
We offer a range of nature based informal education services that aim to develop confidence and self-esteem to
support a healthy transition to adulthood and more positive destination.
The Development Worker will require to have experience engaging with young people who often find it very hard to
articulate their own needs and who are lacking in self-confidence. Over the years we have seen how building up
trusting relationships with young people makes such a positive different to their life choices. We are looking
to recruit candidates who can share our passion to support the young people and whose ideal job is in the
outdoors.
