About the role
The Development Leads in Iriss design and deliver high quality and effective projects that have relevance to the social work and social care sector. Directed either by sector or policy priorities, and working with a range of partners, our work aims to make support work better for both workers and people. Our Development Leads come from a wide range of backgrounds including research, systems thinking, social work/care practice, community development, and design. What they have in common is a drive to support positive change and an ability to take a project through from initial idea to completion and product development.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced health or social care professional to join our team.
As the Practice and Quality Development Facilitator, you will have responsibility for leading and supporting a wide range of projects and activities ensuring that staff are supported to deliver the highest standard of care across our Inpatient, Hospice at Home, and patient and family support services.
The ideal applicant will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proven track record of leading clinical initiatives, confident in delivering education and training, and experience in successfully implementing change in a healthcare setting. You should have excellent organisational, and communication and be able to act as a positive role model.
You should be able to recognise and balance the need for support and challenge, facilitate critical reflection, and be able to support the development of the hospice team. You will be committed to the ongoing support of our learning and development, quality improvement vision day to day in line with strategic aims.

What will you do as Community and Events Fundraiser?
This role is part of SAMH's dynamic Income Generation department, which plays a vital role in driving the financial growth and sustainability of the organisation. Reporting to the Community and Events Fundraising Manager, the Community and Events Fundraiser is a pivotal role, responsible for driving income generation by maximising community fundraising within the East of Scotland. The post holder will do this through the development of excellent local relationships, creating opportunities to give, and positioning SAMH as the charity of choice within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Income Generation: Identify and develop local fundraising opportunities, exceeding income targets by promoting community participation and securing support from various groups.
Supporter Engagement and Stewardship: Build and manage lasting relationships with supporters, delivering excellent stewardship experiences through personalised communication and effective engagement.
Community Event Management: Organise and attend local events, representing SAMH to raise awareness, build partnerships, and maximise fundraising potential.
Volunteer Development: Recruit, manage, and motivate volunteers, encouraging their active involvement in community fundraising events and initiatives.
Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate supporter records on the CRM system, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and producing detailed reports.
What does SAMH need from you?

- Demonstrable success in building effective relationships with people.

- Understanding of and commitment to involving volunteers in community fundraising.

Role Overview
The Director of Venture Support Services will drive the strategic development and growth of The Ventures Lab’s pooled services. A key part of this role will be building and leading a team to deliver high-quality business support services. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and developing a team of professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
Additionally, the Director of Venture Support Services will develop a network of professional partners across various sectors and disciplines, securing a community of trusted advisors, pro-bono experts, and service providers who are committed to supporting purpose-led businesses through volunteering, discounted services, or strategic collaboration.
