We are now recruiting for four new fixed term till 31 March 2028 roles: a full-time Team Leader role, a full-time Community Project Designer role and two part-time Community Project Designer roles. Working in the Kirkcaldy Area the postholders will deliver the ’Every One Every Day’ programme. You’ll help to develop ideas brought to you by residents and grow a network of people, projects and spaces which support people to participate. You will use co-production tools and co-creation to ensure everything that happens is led by local people, makes use of their skills and aspirations, and helps to build community. You’ll create welcoming spaces for people to develop and deliver project ideas, as well as a series of makerspaces.

The role will require people who understand participatory culture and approaches, and are excited about encouraging people to develop their ideas. You’ll have practical skills that can support projects (like cooking, crafting, making, mending or artistic skills). You’ll need excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills, excellent organisational skills, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. You’ll also have a commitment to Corra’s ‘ways of working’ principles and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to support the Residential Registered Manager in opening and managing a brand new Care Inspectorate registered residential rehabilitation service in West Aberdeenshire. You'll be supported by a charitable organisation with extensive experience in launching and managing top-tier registered care services.

Aligned with our vision of empowering individuals impacted by substance use and associated needs, we're collaborating with national and local partners to deliver safe and effective residential care services. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that every individual we support receives the highest quality of care and guidance.

About You

• Previous experience in a CI service
• Expertise in substance use, mental health, or related fields
• Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 2 years of experience managing staff or volunteers

The Role

• Monday to Friday role
• To support the Residential Registered Manager with the residential rehabilitation facilities and ensure the services are provided to the highest of standards in line with our treatment manual and handbook.
• To lead the staff of the service to achieve the highest professional standards and ensure compliance with Phoenix Futures policies and procedures.
• To support the Residential Registered Manager to ensure compliance with all the requirements of the Care Inspectorate and internal Phoenix Futures audit requirements.
• To ensure that the service complies with internal quality standards to a high standard as well as external regulatory and health and safety requirements.
• To actively manage diversity and promote equality and people’s rights in all aspects of service delivery.

Our state-of-the-art facility offers 27 beds for individuals seeking transformative recovery journeys. With a focus on nature and the environment, and with 1.2 acres of land on site, our Recovery through Nature projects will provide a holistic approach to healing. Plus, staff amenities such as onsite bedrooms and a brand-new gym ensure a supportive and enriching work environment.

A proven track record of community development work is essential to this role.
