About us:

EATS Rosyth is a small charity with a strong reputation in our community. Our Vision is to Inspire everyone to Grow, Nourish and Share. We welcome everyone to our EATS Hub, EATS Living Room Cafe, and EATS Community Garden and Centenary Orchard. We aim to build a vibrant and resilient community where we actively improve health and social inclusion. We have a strong reputation for recruiting, training, supporting and retaining a diverse group of volunteers to support all our activities in the EATS Hub and across the organisation. We have a strong inclusive volunteer culture that encourages collaboration and personal growth for everyone irrespective of background.

About the Role:

The Hub Volunteer Mentor post will greatly enhance our ability to support volunteers with disabilities and the number we can support on shift in the Hub. The Hub Volunteer Mentor will:

  • provide direct or indirect support for them whilst they are on shift.
  • build and support a Volunteer Mentor Group so there will be ongoing benefit after the funding is complete in 12 months.

However additional funding will be sort to enable the post to continue. Pay review will be completed April 2025.

The Hub Volunteer Mentor will join a friendly and dedicated staff and volunteer team and be well supported by the General Manager and the Volunteer Development Coordinator.
