Could you be our Community Justice Manager? We are looking for a dynamic manager to lead and be responsible for all aspects of the delivery and development of our Community Justice services. This currently includes bail mentoring, diversion, and arrest referral services, local voluntary throughcare, court peer mentor support and specialist intervention delivery.
The role forms part of the wider Justice management team with opportunity to contribute to Sacro’s organisation wide strategic and operational development.
This post is subject to PVG membership. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required including participation in the on-call out of hours rota.

What is the role
To provide administration support in all aspects of the Volunteering Team’s function. Working with the Head of Volunteering to provide high quality administration support and to build strong relationships, with internal and external customers, ensuring that high levels of service are provided. As a Volunteering Team Administrator you will oversee all administrative aspects of the volunteer recruitment process, including interview arrangements, onboarding, volunteer agreements and all other correspondence. You will co-ordinate all aspects of the disclosure and PVG application and renewal processes; providing support and advice to volunteer line managers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Volunteering Team as a Volunteer Team Administrator, working 17.5 hours per week.
Work pattern: Flexible on days and core hours. We would welcome a conversation with the successful applicant about how these are worked to best suit the needs both of VSS and the successful candidate.

About the team

About you
Are you already a trainer within Health & Social Care, or a nurse or Senior Care Worker looking to develop into the role of a trainer? If so, we are looking to recruit a trainer to join our skilled Learning and development team.
The main focus of the role is to deliver health and social care courses to staff across our services, which are all over Scotland. This role can be based at either our Glasgow, Dundee, or Kirkcaldy office, with travel required across Scotland and the option to work from home.
You will be working in partnership with experienced training colleagues and operational managers and be responsible for delivering high quality and engaging training face to face and occasionally via Microsoft Teams. In addition to delivering training, you will also be assessing competence and coaching new and existing colleagues, and be expected to help nurture and form long-term relationships with new and existing staff, supporting their continuing professional development and training. You should be able to adapt your communication and training style depending on the trainees and naturally build rapport with new people.

What is the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Co-ordinator, (up to 12 month Fixed-term contract) working 28 hours per week. Work pattern: Monday - Friday between 8AM - 8PM & Saturday 10AM - 4PM
Primary location: Glasgow, however you will be expected to cover all areas of the locality
Reporting directly to a Locality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring, within your Service(s), that VSS’s local service development and delivery plan is being implemented within your geographical area(s). Service delivery is provided by a team of skilled and knowledgeable volunteers, you will be responsible for planning their deployment to ensure that the service delivered meets the desired outcomes of victims and witnesses of crime, our service users. Responsible for all aspects of a volunteer engagement with VSS at your services, including recruitment, induction, learning and development, ongoing performance management and support. Contributing to business planning and co-ordination ensuring that continuous learning takes place to monitor that the outcomes of service users are being met.

What you’ll need to be successful
We are looking for someone who is experienced in a similar role and can evidence of continuing professional development, effective leadership style, able to build confidence, motivate and improve performance with a clean full driver licence. Analytical skills, must be able to understand, collect, analyse, report and present data. The ability to challenge stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination and bias. Good working knowledge of the voluntary/charity sector is required, as is a willingness to be flexible in working hours and able to travel as required.

We are recruiting for a Service Manager to lead our Glasgow Supported Accommodation and Outreach Housing Support programmes. Branston Court provides 24/7 support and accommodation for young people, it is also home to our Outreach Housing Support East Dunbartonshire/Panmure, allowing us to support people that are ready to transition into a tenancy of their own.
We are Right There, a charity celebrating our 200th anniversary. We provide tailored support for people, at home, and in the community. We are here for people who are living with the effects of homelessness, poverty, substance use, or family breakdowns.
Last year we supported almost 4,000 individuals, helping to prevent them from becoming homeless or separated from the people they love. Every person’s story is unique, and everyone’s route home is different - it doesn’t matter what the situation is – we’re not here to judge, only to help.
The Service Manager will be responsible for providing a high-quality support service for young people experiencing a period of homelessness and for those moving on to permanent or other long-term suitable accommodation.

We need you to be qualified to SVQ 3 Social Services & Healthcare SCQF Level 7, or have an HNC in Social Services. You will also be qualified to, or be willing to work towards SVQ 4 Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9.
Management experience gained in Third Sector/Not for Profit organisations providing housing, social care and support services is highly beneficial.
