Glasgow Watersports Ltd (Pinkston) is now 10 years old. Our charity is a unique social enterprise, urban sports hub for the community and a thriving legacy project from Glasgow 2014.

We are home to Scotland’s only artificial white-water course, supporting paddlesports and rescue service training nationally. We offer meeting and training rooms, a full delivery programme aimed at schools, clubs and uniformed groups, storage for clubs, colleges and businesses who focus on paddlesports, and a growing offering to the general public.

Our sealed canal basin has bathing quality water, and we aim to continue to increase participation across our communities. We have a fully accessible pontoon, and an ever-widening range of services aimed a many different groups across the city.

We are currently looking to recruit to our volunteer Board. Our volunteer commitment is around 4 hours per month, which will include a Board meeting approximately every 2 months. We have a fantastic and broad range of skills represented but we are keen to build on this with sales/marketing skills, charity, HR or with a construction/ engineering background. Early Years Scotland (EYS) is a prominent organisation dedicated to supporting children from pre-birth to age five. The Role

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, the Business Development and Impact Officer will play a key role in growing, launching and sustaining its social enterprise, developing services and programmes. The role will involve developing partnerships, advocate for meaningful community initiatives, and measuring and communicating project impact through data analysis and storytelling.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the third sector, particularly in social enterprise, community impact or similar fields, and demonstrate strong skills in impact evaluation, data analysis, communication, and stakeholder management.

We are looking for a go-getter with ambition, able to be proactive, organised, and innovative. Incredible relationship-building skills is also key, balanced with the ability to deliver high-quality reports, managing multiple projects, and driving initiatives that align with Early Years Scotland’s mission and objectives.

About the role

Carers Scotland is seeking a Senior Employment Manager to lead our work in supporting unpaid carers in employment and employability. The role includes managing and leading the Carer Positive scheme and Employers for Carers Scotland. You should be passionate about supporting unpaid carers to enter and remain in employment, where they want to start or continue their career. A confident, self-starter you should have considerable experience of managing programmes and projects, as well experience of income generation, including preparing bids for project funding. A strong network within the business community and an understanding of employment practice would be an advantage, as well as experience in public speaking and training. A good team player is a must.

The Role

As Volunteer Development Officer, you will be responsible for many aspects of volunteer development such as recruitment, induction, training, retention, motivation and engagement. Reporting to the Head of Volunteer Development, your main responsibilities will include:

• Promote volunteering within the organisation
• Plan, organise and monitor volunteering activities to deliver St Andrew’s First Aid’s charitable aims
• Learning and development
• Manage volunteer conduct, addressing problems with performance and ensuring the quality of services are upheld by volunteers
• Promote productive working relationships between volunteers and other stakeholders
• Organise events involving volunteers such as meetings, seminars, forums, internal conferences, promotional events and social events
• Deal with conflict, volunteer conduct issues to mediate and resolve
• To represent the organisation as appropriate at meetings of relevant external stakeholders/organisations/partners
• Support the team in ad hoc administration duties.
