As our Community Outreach Officer, you will be responsible for building relationships with community members, organisations, and local stakeholders. You will develop and implement outreach strategies to engage and support communities, raise awareness of our programs, and gather feedback to ensure that our services meet the needs of our communities. You will also represent our organisation at community events and work closely with team members to implement initiatives aimed at improving the overall well-being of our communities.

Funded by The National Lottery Cost of Living Fund, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Digital Inclusion Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals who face barriers to accessing and using digital technology. You will provide tailored support, guidance, and resources to help individuals improve their digital skills, access essential online services, and fully participate in the digital world.

You will have experience of providing informal learning experiences to people in communities, a sound understanding of the barriers to digital inclusion and the relevant experience to support participants to overcome these. You will be passionate about the benefits that digital services and equipment can have on improving and enhancing lives. Experience of using a variety of digital equipment, software, and the internet and the ability to support people to use digital at a basic level.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Tealing Development Trust (TDT) and its partners Tealing Hall SCIO and Tealing Community Council to boost implementation of our 5-year Community Action Plan.

TDT is a young Scottish Charity formed in the last couple of years by a group of enthusiastic volunteers keen to see the village of 700 residents in southern Angus build a closer sense of community spirit and engagement. Currently funded largely by community benefit funding from Seagreen Wind Energy, we are keen to attract further match funding and to deliver a range of ambitious local improvement projects over the next few years.

We are looking to recruit an energetic and self-motivated individual, with a strong commitment to community development and participation. Ideally with experience of partnership working, especially with community groups and associated stakeholders, and of working with and supporting voluntary trustees. Good communication and organisational skills are vital as well as a warm, friendly and approachable manner.

One Dalkeith, Community Development Trust, is seeking a full-time retail manager for their community shop, the Corner Shop Collective. A vibrant non-profit boutique dedicated to enriching the Dalkeith community in extraordinary ways that celebrate local talent, foster connections, and inspire creativity.

The Corner Shop Collective is Midlothian’s newest shopping destination. Over 60 artists, crafters, and producers from the Lothians and Borders under one roof. The shop also provides spaces for local community groups to sell their goods to support their non-profit group.

One Dalkeith is looking for someone highly skilled who understands what it takes to deliver excellent customer service.
