We are looking for an Access to Elected Office Co-ordinator. This role involves coordinating the Access to Politics project, providing advice and support to increase disabled people’s representation in political activity, and facilitating delivery of the Access to Elected Office Fund which offers financial assistance to support disabled candidates during selection and election for local authority and Scottish Parliament appointments

We are recruiting a Café Manager to manage the RNIB Community Café in Edinburgh.

As part of the role, you will lead a small and robust team of volunteers in successfully and profitably managing the operation of the Café.

As Manager, you will also oversee group activities in the building and be a source of information and signposting to community members and partners. The Manager will develop useful links with external organisations such as local suppliers, businesses and community groups, adhering to the most recent government guidance.

Ideally, you should hold Level 2 Food Safety Certification (however, this is not essential as training can be given).

The Manager and team will directly provide support to blind and partially sighted people, ensuring that the Café acts as a resource for community members, campaigns teams and fundraising teams.

About the role

You’ll work closely with Day Service Managers to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and plan creative, therapeutic activities that directly impact the lives of our members.

What we're looking for

· Commitment to supporting individuals with learning disabilities

· Experience in management or supervisory roles

· Relevant qualification (e.g., SVQ Level 3)

· Excellent organisational and IT skills

· Ability to lead and inspire teams

· Desirable: Experience in arts, crafts, or artistic therapies, and a clean driving licence
