To achieve their mission they are looking for a Supporter Fundraiser who will proactively engage with supporters, community groups and volunteers in the community.

The Fundraising Manager – Corporates and Philanthropy is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and individuals with the propensity to donate significant sums. There is huge scope to develop both income streams at Sight Scotland, as this is the first dedicated position covering these income streams.

The primairy focus initially will be on developing corporate partnership income, as there is huge potential for partnerships ranging from transactional right up to transformational. The role supports the organisation’s purpose to make a significant impact on the lives of people living with visual impairment in Scotland by maximising fundraising income to deliver brilliant services and create a positive impact on our ability to deliver for the long term.

This specialist manager role would suit someone who is already operating at a senior fundraiser level, or someone who can demonstrate experience of developing a corporate and/or major donor pipeline, creating operational plans and delivering income.

The Fundraising and Engagement Officer is a part-time role focused on generating income to support Trauma Healing Together (THT) work with individuals affected by psychological trauma. Reporting to the CEO, the role involves cultivating and managing relationships with major donors and corporates, identifying and implementing income opportunities through training and services, and creating innovative donor engagement strategies. The officer will support the charity’s visibility by producing promotional materials and representing the organisation at events, while collaborating with colleagues on cross-departmental initiatives. With a strong focus on achieving financial targets, the role requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and creativity to drive fundraising efforts and sustain impactful philanthropic relationships.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and grow private income with a focus on major donors and corporate

partnerships, explore and present compelling funding opportunities.

2. Manage a portfolio of donors delivering excellent account management and

stewardship, creating donor engagement plans using specific and clearly thought-out

steps.

3. Planning and executing multi-channel supporter acquisition and fundraising

campaigns.

4. Develop and embed systems and processes to underpin the fundraising process, such

as prospect research, moves management, cultivation events and stewardship.

5. Ensure our donors/supporters receive the very best stewardship, feel valued for their

support and become advocates to their friends, family and business contacts.

6. With support from senior colleagues, trustees and volunteers make asks and secure donations from high-net-worth individuals, corporates and trusts and foundations

7. Meet agreed income and KPI’s targets and follow prescribed internal processes to ensure effective engagement with donors.

8. Develop effective and influential relationships with major donors through face-toface or virtual meetings, communication, and special events. Utilising networking to mobilise introductions and generate new leads.

9. Create and implement effective systems for managing and maximalising income generation

10. Find opportunities for generating income through the delivery of our training and services.

11. Assist in the creation and production of brand communications and promotional materials, including supporting in our external communications plans relating to increase brand visibility of our philanthropy work.

12. Act as a representative for THT including attending donor meetings, fundraising and other THT events as required.

13. Work collaboratively with colleagues across THT on cross-departmental and organisational projects.

Barnardo's are recruiting Senior Practitioner (Project Worker 3) to be involved in the delivery of our Residential Service, to support children and young people in a therapeutic and trauma enhanced approach in a residential child care setting. This position is based in our Residential Home and candidate will be expected to be part of the rota system of working including sleepover and evening shifts.

We are looking for an committed practitioner with experience of working with young people and their families preferably within the context of care experienced. They should be passionate about improving outcomes for young people who are accommodated through child-centred therapeutic approach underpinned by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy principals.

Barnardo's Stronger Families offers an exciting opportunity to join an established team who are developing Attachment and Trauma Informed Practice models to support families with children aged 0-13 yrs across Fife. Barnardo's has been established in Fife for over 20 years and the Stronger Families service and support to children and families has been a consistent feature within our services across Fife.

Stronger Families offers intensive support to families (6-10hrs per week), and for 6-9mths working alongside partner agencies to prevent family breakdown. This level of support will hopefully help families to make effective and sustainable change to enable the children to safely remain at home.

Due to the intensive nature of this work your caseload will be around 4 families which will enable you to build good relationships with the children, young people & families and through your support will help them effect meaningful change.

You will have experience of working with children & families and will be required to deliver direct services to families who have a range of complex needs.

Experience of working with children and families and a working knowledge of attachment theories and Trauma Informed Practice would be extremely desirable as would a knowledge of The Promise as the principles are embedded into our service delivery.
