Role

Join a diverse team, meet fascinating people from around the world, and engage in meaningful work in a place where spirituality, community, and purpose come together. If you might like an opportunity to step away from old routines, team working in a hands-on role, where you are appreciated and visible, and have a desire to serve, this could be your next chapter.

As Deputy Housekeeper you would work closely as part of the Housekeeping Team to ensure that the guest accommodation and common areas of the properties on Iona, are kept clean and tidy to a high standard at all times. In the absence of the Housekeeper you would deputise, in many aspects of their role. You would have guest-facing interaction as, due to the way the Community works, the Housekeeping Team are regularly front and centre in interactions with our guests.
