Children’s Wellbeing Service

Are you a passionate and dynamic individual with the skills to deliver ECHC’s Haven wellbeing and resilience outreach programme. You will work alongside sessional workers, artists and volunteers, under the guidance of the Wellbeing and Resilience Officer. Your role will be to provide support and advice to children, young people and their families (CYPF). You will deliver activities that build confidence and self-esteem, using wellbeing and resilience CBT techniques enabling CYPF to better cope with their individual challenges.

Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity have developed a new and exciting project which supports the wellbeing and resilience of children and young people who are struggling with their mental health. This project supports the whole family (child, parents/guardian, siblings, grandparents etc.) through these challenging times, by offering support and advice.

We are looking for someone who is educated to HND level in a relevant subject (youth work, social work, nursing, counselling/psychology, teaching, mental health) and must have experience in delivering high quality youth work to children and young people. This is a demanding role within a fun and fast paced organisation. The right candidate will be passionate about working for a children’s and young people’s healthcare charity and possess the drive and skills to balance a varied workload and achieve objectives.
