As a Community Cook you will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of food based activities including pop-up cafes, community meals and community focused workshops. You will be happy using your cooking skills to plan and prepare large meals using fresh produce, and able to share your skills and enthusiasm through the planning and delivery of cookery courses aimed at improving the cooking confidence and skills of local residents and their ability to make healthy food choices. You will develop classes and workshops which cover topics such as food waste reduction and cooking on a fixed budget, and will have an interest and enthusiasm for sharing diverse cooking cultures and traditions.
