We are seeking an Individual Giving Executive to join our team and support our mission to end homelessness. This role involves nurturing strong relationships with our donors to deliver an excellent supporter journey and inspire individuals to give again. We’re looking for someone who is great at communicating and building relationships, solutions-focussed, collaborative and a team player.
What you’ll be doing:
Working as part of our dynamic Fundraising and Marketing team, you’ll work closely with the Senior Individual Giving Executive and Head of Individual Giving at an exciting time for the organisation, supporting the expansion of Social Bite’s Individual Giving programme. Your enthusiasm and dedication to detail will help to bring donors closer to our work and ensure that they feel recognised for their support.
Relationship Building: You will engage with and inspire our existing donors through excellent donor care, making sure that every donation is processed with attention to detail, every supporter is thanked in a timely manner, and updated on all our latest projects. You will play an integral role as the first point of contact for enquiries and welcoming new supporters coming through the door.
Data management and analysis: maintaining the database with accuracy, and monitoring income for Individual Giving, identifying any leads for major donors and corporate partners. Ensuring all postal mailing is actioned and filed accordingly and in line with best practice. You will also keep abreast of our latest donor trends by completing regular income reporting and analysis, to provide key insights on the Individual Giving programme.
Fundraising Campaigns and events:Supporting the planning and execution of Individual Giving campaigns, such as email campaigns and postal appeals. This also includes wider fundraising initiatives, such as our UK-wide Festival of Kindness Christmas campaign which aims to deliver 300,000 gifts, meals and essential items to people who are vulnerable and experiencing homelessness through the winter.
Events: Planning and brainstorming events for donors throughout the year in conjunction with the Senior Individual Giving Exec., from delivering communications with donors, to monitoring Tap to Donate machines during nationwide appeals and black-tie fundraising dinners.
General Duties:Embedding robust administrative processes for all round donor care, including gift aid preparation, organising and filing postal donations and keeping up with the latest GDPR requirements.
