To help us recruit and support volunteers for our brand-new charity shop, we are recruiting for a Volunteering Administrator. If you have a passion for people and a knack for organisation, this could be the perfect role for you.
You’ll be joining a dynamic team of values-driven professionals, passionate about inspiring people to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families. Reporting to the Volunteering Development Manager for Income Generation and Engagement and working closely with the CHAS Retail team, you will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative support. You will support the recruitment and engagement of volunteers in Dalgety Bay who will be part of the new CHAS shop.
You will be experienced in office administration and have excellent people skills. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exemplary customer service will mean that every enquiry is handled professionally and timeously.
This role will be based in Kinross with some home working. Travel to the CHAS shops on occasion will also be required. We will provide you with the equipment you need to be able to work remotely and flexibly as occasional travel within Scotland is required. Some of our sites are not easily accessed via public transport so it would be beneficial if you have a full driving licence and access to a car.
Why CHAS?
At CHAS, staff and volunteers work together as one team, focused on the common goal of reaching every family in Scotland who needs our support. We have a 2:1 ratio of volunteers to staff members in CHAS. All CHAS staff will at some point work with or alongside volunteers and will be expected to support volunteers.
Our ambition is to reach every family in Scotland who is living with the heart-breaking prognosis that their child is dying, and offer them our care and support to empower them to make the most of the short time they have together. As a Volunteering Administrator for Retail, you will be instrumental in achieving this vision.
