Role

Come lead a creative and forward-focused team, helping Carr Gomm go even further in supporting people across Scotland to live their best possible lives.

As the Operations Manager in our Business Development Team, you will be responsible for hands-on leadership and management of Carr Gomm’s communications, marketing, fundraising, contracting, and competitive tendering.

Success in this role includes:

  • Effectively communicating strategic messages to target audiences, as per the strategic plan;
  • Submitting competitive tender bids, and demonstrating continual post-tender learning and improvement; and
  • Delivering a reliable stream of non-contract fundraised income, including through successful grant applications and enjoyable community fundraising.

What we are looking for

In our eyes, the best Operations Managers are creative, tech-savvy, results-driven, positive, and self-motivated team players.

We expect that you will have significant experience of line management, communications and marketing, social media management, various fundraising approaches, contract administration, competitive tendering and the wider social care policy landscape in Scotland. Experience within social care is beneficial, but not essential. Travel throughout Scotland is required.
