An opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to join our team supporting 3 Directorates within Children 1st.
This role will provide confidential, high quality administrative support, to the Director of Finance & Corporate Services in their work, with support also being provided to the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications and the Director of People & Culture. The post holder will work effectively as part of a wider administrative support team to provide continuity and consistent support across Children 1st.
The role will involve collaborating with colleagues across the organisation, taking the time to build relationships and understand the needs of the organisation.

The main duties and responsibilities include:
• Delivering comprehensive, confidential high quality administrative support to the Directorates.
• Working effectively as part of the wider administration team consisting of Executive Assistants and Admin Support Managers to provide continuity and consistent support for Senior Management when required.
• Collaborating on a regular basis with the Directors keeping them well informed of and prepared for upcoming commitments and responsibilities and following up appropriately.
• Communicating effectively with the Directors to prioritise and manage workload accordingly.
To be considered for this opportunity you must be/have:
• Qualified to SCQF Level 6 or equivalent in Business or Administration or significant proven administrative experience.
• Excellent ICT skills (MS 365 applications).
• Carried out a similar role.
• Experience of electronic and paper-based records/file management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Action for Children's Intensive Intervention Service is a voluntary service that aims to support children and young people aged 11-18 years who may be at risk of or coerced into, involvement with serious offending and criminal activity.
The service forms partnership with City of Edinburgh Council, Police Scotland, and Education as part of a multi-agency partnership strategy to intervene in a child or young person's life as early as possible to prevent the likelihood or impact of criminal exploitation.
The aim of the service is to provide intensive 1:1, group work and diversionary activities to help equip the child or young person with the necessary skills and tools to make positive choices and to re-engage and sustain education, training, or employment.
We're seeking a dedicated Practitioner to provide targeted intervention to children and young people, fostering their potential and aiding them in overcoming personal barriers. About the service
Our Gilmerton Road Project provides short breaks and outreach support for children and young people (aged 5-21) with learning disabilities and we're excited to offer a unique opportunity for experienced Residential Support Worker's to join our dedicated team.
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering children and young people to explore their world, build connections, and create lasting memories by;
Facilitating Short Breaks: As part of a highly skilled team of practitioners, you'll welcome the young people we support to make the most of their short breaks, developing new skills, socialising, and gaining independence while they are in our care.
Community Engagement: You'll also spend time out and about, supporting our children to access local communities. Whether it's a trip to the beach, an afternoon at the zoo, or playtime in the park, you'll be there to facilitate enriching experiences.
We also work in partnership with CAMHS ID and our own Behaviour Consultant to develop and deliver person centred support plans that offer consistency and clear outcomes for all our young people.

Edinburgh Family Support Partnership is a transformational new collaboration between City of Edinburgh Children's Services, Barnardo's Scotland, Children 1st, Citadel, Safe Families and Edinburgh Community Food. Our aim is to radically transform how Edinburgh Children's Services and partners deliver services to families within the city of Edinburgh whilst simultaneously improving a family's journey through the current complex landscape of accessing family support.
Our multi-disciplinary teams will be community based, in each of the 4 locality areas across the city of Edinburgh. As well as connecting families with holistic responsive and flexible support the multi-disciplinary teams will empower families to ‘reach in' themselves and be supported along their journey through a relational and strengths-based approach.
Our aim of providing early intervention that empowers families to take control encourages an integrated approach, leads to tailored plans and provides the right support when it is needed and diverts children and families from escalating into statutory processes. Families are at the heart of our approach and restorative family led decision making drives our support in partnership with families, their networks, communities and enables them to address challenges before they become a crisis.
