The GIVIT Youth Recovery Service funding by South Lanarkshire ADP supports 11 – 25yr olds who are affected by their own alcohol & substance use or a family members problematic use.

We use a blend of youth work interventions, rapid access to CBT Counsellors backed up with a fully supported Recovery Model to help young people consider their own personal recovery needs.

The Youth Transitions Navigator will specialise in providing 1 to 1 support for the young people who are homeless. You will be given full training and excellent support from your colleagues including the opportunity to shadow in the first instance. You must be able to build solid relationships with young people based on trust, mutual respect, care and compassion. You will need to be a natural motivator who can work with a small caseload effectively.
