Role

Support for Ordinary Living (SOL) is a value based non-profit organisation, who work for people with a variety of different support needs and disabilities to choose and create a life for themselves within their own homes and communities throughout Lanarkshire.

We are looking for experienced practitioners who will be able to provide leadership and support to their teams. You will work with the people we support and their team members to ensure that people receive care and support in line with their wishes and the National Health and Social Care Standards.

You will be joining a team of supportive, values driven managers who are responsible for the day-to-day management of supported living services. This will range from shift cover, reviewing and updating support plans, chairing team meetings, and providing support as required to your teams. The role is predominately office based although there may be the odd occasion, once all options have been exhausted, that you will be required to go on shift. There are also out of hours (on-call) responsibilities with the role which is completed on a rotational basis – if this falls on the weekend you will receive days off the following week.

You must be willing to join and adhere to the SSSC codes of practice. If you don’t already have the qualifications associated with your role you must be willing to work towards these. The organisation will give you support with this.
