Role

The Scottish Human Rights Commission’s role is to promote widespread awareness, understanding of, and respect for human rights.

We are looking for a talented individual to be the part-time Chair of the Commission.

You will have energy, credibility, integrity and sound judgement to lead, in collaboration with the other members, the strategic direction of the Commission,

The appointment is for a fixed term of 6 years, is part-time (10 days a month) and attracts a daily fee rate of £351.

The Commission is based in Edinburgh.
