Role

About Us

We’re Euan’s Guide, the award-winning disabled access review charity making it easier for disabled people to find places to go. At the heart of the charity is our disabled access review website - euansguide.com - where disabled people and their friends, families and carers can find and share disabled access information. We also make tens of thousands of accessible toilets safer and run the UK’s largest and longest running Access Survey.

We have ambitious plans to grow and have secured funding for an exciting new project for which we are looking for a Community Manager.

The Role

The Community Manager will lead the travel and transport related reviewing project.

You will be responsible for ‘Community Mapping’ - planning and prioritising locations, transport hubs and venues to be visited. You will also lead on Community Outreach, Stakeholder Engagement and production of supporting resources.

You will have a passion for UK travel and should expect to spend a significant portion of your time exploring new locations particularly around UK transport hubs.

You will report to the CEO and manage the Review Coordinators whose main focus will be submitting disabled access information and Community Engagement. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that key milestones are met.

We are an ambitious charity, passionate about making the world more accessible to all disabled people. We have a strong focus on technology so Euan’s Guide is often in a unique position of having the advantages and challenges of both a charity and tech business… there is no ‘typical day’!
