About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Scottish Autism’s Marketing Team. You will report to the Director of Practice and Innovation, and this role is central to achieving our key strategic objectives. You will work collaboratively with others to develop and deliver our marketing and communications. You will help us to maintain Scottish Autism’s profile as a leading provider of autism services and an advocate for good autism practice and societal change. Working across the organisation you will ensure consistent and clear external communications. You will protect and support development of the Scottish Autism brand, ensuring all collateral material complies with brand guidelines; reflects our values; and represents the voices of supported autistic people. Additionally, you will coordinate internal communications activities, ensuring the effective deployment of a range of messaging to engage our team.
About You:
You will be proactive and self motivated and able to work collaboratively with both internal and external partners. You will have strong influencing and relationship management skills. As the evaluation of effectiveness of marketing methods and continuous improvements is key to the role, numeracy and the ability to review financial information and data is required. Previous experience of coaching and mentoring staff is essential.
You will be degree qualified and/or able to demonstrate significant industry experience. Experience of playing a key part in marketing and communication strategic work is essential along with experience of developing and overseeing a portfolio of marketing and communication activity. Experience of developing and delivering internal and external communication strategies is desirable.
