Do you enjoy working with people?

Are you an experienced youth worker? And / or

Are you 18 – 24 with lived experience of risk-taking behaviours, your own or as an affected other?

We are looking for enthusiastic Trustees to join Fast Forward’s Board of Directors.

We particularly welcome applications from people from communities with protected characteristics i.e. age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, to strengthen and diversify our Board and organisation.

New Trustees, with protected characteristics, will be supported by a mentor / coach with lived experience of protected characteristics, through 1:1 sessions tailored to their individual personal and professional development to;

  • ensure that they are comfortable in their role as Trustee,
  • maximise their learning and confidence as a Trustee with Fast Forward
  • optimise opportunities for growth and increasing confidence

Organisation profile

Fast Forward is Scotland’s national youth work agency, focusing on supporting children & young people to make informed choices regarding, and take a harm reduction approach to, risk-taking behaviours, towards reducing the negative impacts of these on their lives and those of their families and wider community.

We promote health through programmes and resources developed by, with and for young people.
