Delivering an intensive whole family support, therapeutic counselling and children's resilience service, in response to the complex health and social care needs experienced by mothers, children and their families due to their experience of substance use, domestic abuse and poor mental health.
The Therapeutic Counsellor will provide a range of assessment, counselling and/or psychological support services to mothers affected by domestic abuse, addictions, and related mental health issues, and to contribute towards Circle’s aims of responding to substance use and promoting recovery.
Applicants should possess a qualification in post-graduate Diploma in Counselling and are working towards relevant accreditation. A background in social work, social care, education or health, addictions and with relevant experience is desirable.
