WEA have an exciting opportunity for an ESOL Sessional Tutor to join our Scotland team.
We are looking for inspiring ESOL Tutors who have experience of successfully working with adults to develop their English language skills for everyday life and work.
As a Sessional Tutor, you will provide the highest possible quality teaching and learning to a group of learners, in both face to face classroom and online classroom environments.
The scale and breadth of our curriculum offer is what makes us special. It is our most powerful and important tool in meeting the needs of our learners and the communities, regardless of starting point or educational need - We bring learning to the learner, whether it be in local trusted venues or their living room via online learning.
Key areas of responsibility:We are looking for qualified ESOL tutors for Glasgow to teach in-person locally and online nationally.
We teach a variety of ESOL non-accredited and SQA accredited courses such as English for Everyday Life, ESOL with SQA Core Skills Numeracy, ESOL for Parents, ESOL for Employability and SQA National ESOL at various levels.

As a qualified, experienced and capable tutor, you will use hybrid and/or blended learning approaches to include digital learning through our Canvas platform and have the skills to deliver face to face or online using Zoom (training is provided).
