Role

The 2 Sessional (Community) Officer will work closely with the Youth Arts & Heritage Project Coordinator, volunteers, schools, and local institutions, and the project’s design.

A. The essential objective of this position is to encourage participation and interest in the Heritage Project which requires an understanding of the role and impact of heritage within the local community and experience of working in culturally diverse areas.

B. They will be responsible for the continuation of the delivery of an Activity & Interpretation plan in partnership with professional partners, community representatives, and council colleagues. Experience of procuring and managing suppliers; maintaining strong partnership relationships, keeping to budget, project evaluation and experience in heritage or working with volunteers particularly for heritage projects are required.
