Role

Due to the retirement of our long serving Director, we have a unique opportunity available for the position of Director to work with the Management Committee and staff team to deliver the association’s vision of “a great community with a strong sense of belonging”.

Hillhead Housing Association is a community-based housing association based in the Hillhead area of Kirkintilloch. The Association owns and manages around 830 units and is well governed. We are focused on delivering excellent customer services to tenants and other stakeholders for which we enjoy an excellent reputation.

Our Director will be instrumental in the association achieving the following aims by 2026:

  • Improving the quality of life locally.
  • Strengthening local decision making.
  • Encouraging wider community engagement.
  • Maximising our use of digital technologies.
  • Safeguarding our financial position.
  • Combating climate change.
  • Exploring opportunities for growth.

As our Director you will have a committed, flexible and adaptable approach to work. You will have an excellent knowledge of housing issues and policy, experience of working in an RSL or similar organisation at a senior level along with strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
