As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will develop plans with your clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.

We are determined and always professional in our approach to each and every case and we never judge, we're just here to help.

There will be assessments to carry out and records you need to keep and update, that's all part of our professional commitment and service to our clients and commissioners.

If you think this could be the career for you, take the first step and apply now to join our amazing team.

We are looking to recruit a Recovery Worker to join our newly commissioned STAR service based in Glasgow. WithYou has been commissioned to deliver this new city-wide service as part of a 'Test of Change’ programme.

The aim of the service is to support individuals, across Glasgow, who have been assessed by ADRS as stable and progressing well in their recovery. They are likely to be prescribed ORT/protective medication and will require no further ADRS input apart from prescription management and so will be transferred to the new STAR service to manage their ongoing support.

The service user support will focus on providing regular recovery check-ins and linking people with the most appropriate services. The STAR Recovery Workers are responsible for managing large caseloads rather than delivering PSI/group work. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Recovery Workers who are looking for a new challenge, who have strong organisational skills, good local community knowledge and excel at partnership working.
