To provide advice via one to one and support group settings, information and signposting service to adult’s affected by a loved one’s substance use. This will include liaison with other agencies, monitoring of service and writing reports. The service will be mainly provided from My Support Day premises but can also be done through our outreach services or telephone support may also be offered.

Our vibrant and busy services in North West Glasgow provides support to people concerned about their own or someone else's alcohol or drug use. We have a Recovery Hub however much of our work is carried out in the local community. We work with people at all stages on their journey providing both one to one appointments and group work.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Recovery Workers who are motivated to work as part of a thriving and diverse team, ensuring recovery opportunities are available for individuals at any point in their recovery journey. You will strive to work collaboratively with partners and communities, ensuring that we are as accessible as possible and that the principles of a Recovery Oriented System of Care and true person centred practice are at the heart of all that we do. An SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Health care is essential for this post.

Job Description
Our Recovery Workers work with our service users to help them to determine what their goals, ambitions and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back onto the path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities. You will manage an active caseload of service users, connecting quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity. Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You’ll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to be part of our team at our brand new Care Inspectorate registered residential rehabilitation service in West Aberdeenshire. You'll be supported by a charitable organisation with extensive experience in launching and managing top-tier registered care services.
Aligned with our vision of empowering individuals impacted by substance use and associated needs, we're collaborating with national and local partners to deliver safe and effective residential care services. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that every individual we support receives the highest quality of care and guidance.
Your role in our therapeutic community will be key. You will manage a small caseload, assess the people who use our service and manage their recovery/care plans. It will mean developing and applying a range of therapeutic approaches to meet their individual needs, whether that’s employment, education, health etc. You’ll be the one who sees that everything is coordinated from the moment they’re referred to us to the time that they move home.
As a Therapeutic Worker, you will support individuals accessing the residential rehabilitation programme to achieve outcomes that help create long-term recovery. Using the Therapeutic Community “community as method” model you will empower individuals, families and communities to be confident about recovery.
You will support the day to day running of the therapeutic community, ensuring residents’ needs are met and the best possible care is provided in an environment that promotes a culture of recovery. Whilst also being confident to deliver therapeutic groups, activities, and specialist interventions in accordance with the TC manual and the needs of the service.
Previous experience is desirable, however not essential. Therapeutic Workers come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and you may have the skills required. We are seeking dedicated individuals, based on your values, willingness to learn new skills and the compassion to deliver the best service possible to our residents.
We have a full-time role of 37.5 hours and a part-time role of 18 hours per week. You will be expected to work a rolling rota which includes evening and weekend working.

Glasgow Council on Alcohol (GCA) aims to reduce alcohol and drug related harm, and risk of harm, at an individual and community wide level, through a long-term, asset-based approach to changing the culture of alcohol and drug use. It does this by delivering a range of interventions and services such as alcohol counselling, alcohol brief interventions (ABIs), employability support and groupwork as well as delivering a comprehensive training portfolio, including Addiction Awareness, COSCA Counselling Skills and a Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
GCA has been delivering specialised trauma informed alcohol counselling since 1965 to support those drinking at harmful and hazardous levels and who wish to make a positive change. The counselling approach is integrative and aims to address the presenting alcohol problem but also work with the inevitable accompanying life problems related to it. In our experience around 65% of individuals who access GCA will not have engaged with statutory services or recovery communities. GCA services have expanded to include a range of holistic services to support individuals in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol. Services we provide include; counselling, wellbeing support, a women’s only service for survivors of gender-based violence, and an LGBT health and wellbeing service. Currently GCA delivers services in Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire.

To provide guidance and practical support in the day to day running of The Jeely Early Years’ Service. Must be SVQ Level 3/4 Qualified or equivalent (Must be willing to gain qualification). Must be registered with Scottish Social Services Council. You will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme. You will ensure that the provision is of the highest quality.
