Role

Do you have a passion for enabling individuals to make a positive change in their lives? We’d love to hear from you.

Venture Trust works with people experiencing complex life circumstances. Through our work, we provide the opportunity for people to recognise their confidence, motivation and core life skills that they need to make positive changes in their lives.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Progressions Worker to join Venture Trust as we continue to roll out our new Green Futures programme, funded by CashBack for Communities. This programme has a strong environmental focus, encouraging participants to learn about their environment and positive climate action, explore what a Just Transition looks like for them, develop key employability skills and engage more in their local community.

As a Progressions Worker, you will:

  • Develop and manage external referral networks in your area to ensure that recruitment for Venture Trust employability programmes and services runs efficiently
  • Support the planning of and lead on the delivery of employability programmes and progression opportunities for participants, specifically on our new Green Futures programme.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build positive, meaningful relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Have a good understanding of how to work alongside people with lived experience of trauma, the justice system, mental health conditions, addictions and neurodiversity
  • Deliver innovative and engaging high quality employability content to Venture Trust clients that is tailored to meet agreed learning outcomes
  • Maintain strong relationships with delivery and referral partners to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Provide ongoing pastoral support to identify and remove barriers to employment and broker employability opportunities where possible
