As a Support Worker you will join our well established teams providing high quality individualised support to adults and young people who have a range of disabilities and support needs across the Stirling area. Our service also supports people in the outlying more rural parts of the Stirling council area and we encourage applications from people based in all of these locations. Successful candidates will have a positive attitude and commitment towards making a difference to the lives of the people we support.
On a day to day basis we support people with all aspects of their lives including; personal care, taking care of their home and finances as well as developing and maintaining full and active participation in the community. A commitment to an individualised approach is essential and experience of working with people with disabilities is desirable.
If you would like to get involved in support work but cannot commit to a contract because you have other commitments, then there are opportunities to join our register of relief workers who provide support based on their availability.
Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of the people who use our service. Support will include work in the evenings and weekends as well as sleepovers and waking nights when required.
KEY provides excellent professional supervision, support and training, including access to the SVQ Framework and a chance to really make a difference to people’s lives.
