The Service
We are bringing our community-based provisions under one Deputy Service Manager who will lead a Community Provision comprising Outreach, Criminal Justice, Young Persons Substance Misuse and Sexual Health. The team will work closely with our Treatment Provision (R3) and together will provide an end-to-end seamless recovery service focusing on improving health outcomes for service users engaging with the service.
The role
The Deputy Service Manager will contribute to the ongoing management, growth, and development of the Service.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with individuals who use alcohol and substances, and a comprehensive understanding of the current operating environment within the substance misuse sector, including an excellent understanding of the requirements of CQC compliance.
You will manage and provide supervision and work alongside the service’s prescribers to provide a clinically safe, sound and recovery focused service. While you will have defined areas of work you may have to deputise for the Service Manage in any part of the Service. While operational experience is key an added advantage, you will have strong track record in performance and / or Quality management.

Location
The role is predominantly based in Ilford, Redbridge at Ilford Chambers, but at times may involve travel to external meetings and satellites within the borough, and to other WDP locations as needed.
