We are recruiting a Team Leader to lead a small new team in South Lanarkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of setting up a new team to develop a rights-based approach to working with families and communities. The post holder will contribute to the development and shape a new and innovative Children 1st service. We are trauma informed and strengths based in our approach to working with children and families.
Although this is a small service, you will be supported by our Children 1st national FGDM development team. You will have a responsibility for leading and evaluating this new service alongside working with families.
The post holder will engage with children and families to ensure their voices are at the heart of planning and decision making in matters that affect them. We are therefore looking to recruit a dynamic, experienced individual who can drive the successful development and growth of this new and innovative partnership.
Children 1st along with partners share a determination to act upon the recommendations from The Independent Care Review and deliver The Promise to children and young people. We are also determined that the full incorporation of the UNCRC means that children will have their rights respected in all areas of their lives and will have a real say in the way they are supported. If you share this determination, we would love to hear from you.
This is a fixed term, full time role of 35 hours per week, funded until 01 Sept 2022.
Closing date: Friday 13 August at 12 noon. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Wednesday 25 August 2021.
