Govan Community Project have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Service Manager to join our team. If you are keen to lead a skilled, dedicated team and the delivery of services which really make a difference to the lives of people seeking asylum in Glasgow this role could be for you.

GCP’s advice and advocacy service provides advice and casework support to New Scots in the asylum process on a wide range of issues. Our service primarily focuses on supporting people who are destitute to access Home Office support and also includes our Early Intervention Project which delivers information workshops to newly arrived asylum seekers and provides follow up casework support, where required.

The Asylum Support Service Manager’s role is to provide operational management of the advice & advocacy service and the Early Intervention project.

Our ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual, with a proven track record in direct service delivery in asylum support casework and managing a small team. You will have the skills and experience to support our casework team to deliver high quality asylum support advice services, manage capacity and be able to find creative solutions to adapt services in response to changing needs. You will be able to demonstrate developing and delivering services which underpin the values of co-production and empowerment.
