The role
Based at our office in Glasgow, and working within the Fundraising, Communications and Policy team to research topics, deliver PR and media assets and activities across Scotland to highlight the work Action for Children does and issues relating to disadvantaged children, young people and families.
As a News and Media Relations Officer you'll liaise with our Leadership Team in Scotland as well as the UK-wide team to coordinate and our strategy and focus. Your role will include pitching and selling in stories, building solid relationships with journalists and making sure Action for Children's voice is heard. You'll also collaborate with our services and service users to highlight the issues they face.
