ASC is a charity dedicated to providing a range of recovery focussed services and activities for people affected by addictions and associated mental health problems.
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled practitioner who can join us in helping vulnerable people to:
Based in Stirling and working across Forth Valley, you will work closely with tutors from the Forth Valley College, employability training providers, housing, social services and treatment services, creating a package of support for our service users to work towards positive outcomes.
You will use your assessment, care planning and intervention skills to process referrals and to provide a range of individual and group- based support including psycho-educational interventions, relapse prevention and the development of coping strategies to overcome barriers to change. You will be committed to using CBT techniques through a person centred approach and competent in monitoring and recording all aspects of your work.
Length of contract. Fixed term until 31 July 2024, thereafter to be determined primarily by the availability of funding.
