We are currently recruiting for a Development Lead to join our team and provide capacity support for the Third Sector
Chief Officer's Group (TSCOG) to deliver upon their main strategic objectives.
Third Sector Chief Officers Group
The Third Sector Chief Officers Group (TSCOG) was formed in 2016 when a number of CEO’s of Third Sector organisations
in South Lanarkshire came together under the auspices of VASLan to support each other during a period of
significant strategic and financial challenge and change.The group met fortnightly to play a significant role in
providing peer support and sharing information to ensure joined up services during the COVID pandemic.
The TSCOG are now ready to move onto the next stage of their development, with this role providing additional
capacity to deliver upon their strategic objectives.
Job Purpose:
This role is a shared resource for the TSCOG, hosted within VASLan with the workplan directed by a TSCOG Steering
Group.
Priorities:
• Strategic Engagement
o Improve engagement between TSCOG members, locality and thematic networks, and the wider third
sector
• Being Collaborative
o Develop consortia documentation and process which can be applied to opportunities where
appropriate, and share with the wider sector
• Income & Strategic Commissioning
o Support collaboration to attract external or local funding to localities and mechanisms for
distribution and governance.
In summary its enhancing the funding support offer to the sector with TSCOG orgs showing some leadership to leverage
more resources into SL.
