Third Sector, Dumfries and Galloway is a third sector interface and is funded by the Scottish Government and Dumfries and Galloway Council to meet four objectives: supporting and developing a strong third sector; developing social enterprise; developing volunteers and volunteering; and, connecting the third sector to community planning.

If this sounds like you, we think you might be our next Lead for Finance & Resources.

We are looking for a finance leader who is passionate about financial planning, management and reporting. The successful candidate is likely to have sound experience of finance processing and management, with a knowledge of good practice and policy and the ability to apply those skills to our wider resource planning. You may also have experience in other relevant areas of organisation development, including governance or workplace practice. Ideally the post holder will have worked in, or have an understanding of, the third sector, although development support will be available.

We are looking for a colleague who can provide the highest quality of administrative and coordinating support as we embark on delivering our new ambitions. You will support our resources, finance and policy development work with effective planning and administration, provide excellent reception services and be involved in range of projects and events. The successful candidate will enjoy planning and coordination, administration and reception activity and being part of a flexible and enthusiastic team.
