MCR Pathways supports over 3,000 young people from across the country. These are really exciting times and we are looking for an exceptional Programme Manager to lead our programme and manage our school-based Coordinators across a group of North Ayrshire schools.
The role is exciting and varied. As part of our Education & Schools team, you will lead the regional team of school Pathways Coordinators and be supported by our Mentor Services, Marketing and Digital teams.
For this role, you’ll need to be relentlessly driven to ensure all care-experienced young people and those experiencing disadvantage in the region are supported to find, grow and use their individual talents and that their education, employment choices and life chances outcomes are maximised. You’ll have experience of managing a team, be highly organised and ambitious to ensure all young people in scope have the opportunity to access the Young Scottish Talent North Ayrshire programme.

About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Actively participate in the Senior Leadership Team to support the organisation’s objectives and aims. You will provide strategic leadership to the teams, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements. You will lead the Corporate Strategy, Business Plan, and Performance Management Framework.
- Financial Management: Ensure efficient financial operations, overseeing budget preparation, treasury management, and long-term financial planning to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- ICT Function: Develop and coordinate an ongoing ICT strategy that maintains the integrity and security of our network, along with effective disaster recovery plans.
- Shared Services: Ensure GDPR compliance as the Data Protection Officer. Oversee procurement processes to ensure value for money and take strategic responsibility for Health and Safety. You will also be responsible for maintaining and regularly reviewing business continuity plans.
- Governance & Assurance: Serve as Company Secretary and lead the organisation’s approach to quality improvement and management, establishing a robust quality assurance framework and timely management information infrastructure.
- Partnership Working: Proactively engage with partnership working to enhance our reputation, representing the organisation in the community, and leading suppliers and outsourced providers in delivering high quality services
- Human Resources: Develop and implement people strategies that align with our values and ensure compliance with employment law. Lead talent identification and recruitment strategies while managing complex employee relations issues.

About you
We are looking for a strategic leader with a proven ability to drive transformation across key corporate functions, who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Essential qualifications:
- A relevant degree (at least SCQF level 10 or above) or equivalent professional qualification in HR, Finance, ICT or Business Management
- A recognised management qualification (SCQF level 10 or higher) or evidence of substantial management training and development that is in line with the learning outcomes of a management qualification.
Essential experience:
- Significant experience of leading and managing a range of corporate services functions at a senior level, preferably in the social care or charity sector
- Experience of leading and managing change and innovation, using recognised change management methodologies, within a complex environment
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of current employment law and best practice in HR management, learning and development, and employee engagement
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR, EDI, and workforce strategies, policies and procedures that support organisational objectives and culture
- Extensive experience of overseeing the delivery of ICT, digital transformation, marketing and communications projects and services
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and ensure value for money
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, motivate and inspire others at all levels
- Evidence of strategic thinking and planning, with the ability to translate vision into action
- A robust knowledge of risk management approaches and leading on strategic risk management.
- Experience of working collaboratively and constructively with internal and external stakeholders, including Board members, regulators, funders, and partners

Desirable qualifications:
- A postgraduate qualification (SCQF level 11 or above) in a relevant field

Role:
This is an opportunity to come and join our team as a Residential Worker primarily based at Cauvin. Cauvin is our small, residential space that supports up to three mums and babies at any one time.
Our team work closely with mums and their babies to provide the advice and guidance they may need to build their attachment and bond with their child, to support their own individual health, wellbeing and independent living skills and ensuring that their babies own growth and developmental needs are being met. We work together with families, social work, health and other colleagues to ensure the strengths and voices of mums and babies are at the heart of all we do while the safety and welfare of the child is always maintained. We work closely with colleagues across the Trust to ensure we are taking a family and community-based approach to work and to create positive onward transitions for mothers and babies.
To support this, our residential role involves a shift pattern over a four-week rota, that requires weekend working, lone working and sleep-ins. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be part of our team as we adapt our services to #KeepThePromise. We are looking for someone who is:

Teapot Trust, a registered charity (SC041885) that delivers art therapy to support children and young people living with chronic health conditions, seeks to appoint a Finance Officer.
The main responsibilities are:
- Managing day-to-day financial processes with robust controls – invoices, banking, payments, processing transactions through accounting software (currently Xero)
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Liaising with the charity’s accountants re: timely production of year-end accounts
- Analysis of historic trends to inform income and expenditure projections
- Managing budget planning with staff and the Finance Committee
- Liaison re: outsourced payroll
- Taking a lead in Finance meetings and contributing to Funding/Operations meetings

Dean and Cauvin Young People’s Trust is one of Scotland’s oldest charities – working in Edinburgh since 1733. No previous board experience is necessary as full support and training will be provided.
What we do need is someone who is committed to our values and has an understanding of the current issues affecting young people, of high-quality practice approaches as well as the opportunities and challenges of the third sector.

Your responsibilities

There are additional opportunities to attend and contribute to our Finance sub-group and/or Care & Support sub-group. These meet 4 times per year (1-2 weeks before a Board meeting).
