Job Purpose

Your role, as an ENABLE Works Compliance Officer, is to support our team to help people who have disabilities to make progress towards and achieve employment.

Working on our new supported employment provision ‘All in Moray’, you will report into the regional Operations Manager and will be responsible for all programme monitoring and compliance, as well as the submission of all claims to the funder.

You will work closely with Team Leaders and Employment Coordinators and will be responsible for ensuring compliance performance in-line with contractual targets.

You will monitor and report on compliance and performance and ensure we deliver a quality service across the programme and meet challenging expectations.

You will work with the Operations Manager to accurately forecast delivery outcomes, drive compliance within the team, and identify and effectively manage any risks to performance to ensure targets are achieved.

Carrying out internal audits, identifying risks areas and trends, and planning and implementation of effective contingencies.

You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a robust staff training programme in compliance, motivating the team and ensuring they are fully equipped to deliver a high quality service.

An important member of the wider ENABLE Works team, supporting departmental objectives through effective programme management, but also through positive collaboration and innovation within your team to support our strategic, societal goals.

This post is funded by the European Social Fund and 100% the post holders time will be spent delivering this activity.

Main Duties and Accountabilities

High quality programme delivery:

  • Monitoring and support of all compliance on All in Moray
  • Work with front-line staff team to support the compliance of All in Moray that will exceed the expectations of customers with a range of abilities and support needs.
  • Motivate and coach the team and drive compliance in line with contractual targets.
  • Monitoring and recording; gathering accurate project information in line with project timescales and work plan, allowing for accurate forecasting and contingency planning
  • Overseeing all internal audits and managing compliance requirements across the regional team
  • Using a solution focused and creative approach, support teams to identify risks to effective performance, and identify and coach effective contingencies
  • Delivery of structured training, regular targeted meetings and effective communications with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Reporting on all external programme audits
  • Handling and storing project information in line with ENABLE Scotland’s data protection policy
  • Reporting accurately on project activity when requested and in line with project timescales

Meeting performance expectations:

  • Manage quality and compliance standards effectively across the team, minimising financial risk associated with any non-compliance
  • Effective coaching and performance management with the team to ensure team meet and exceed performance expectations
  • Accurately forecast delivery and effectively contingency plan with team, working collaboratively with other managers, in order to future-proof performance and income
  • Innovating and collaborating across the team to support wider ENABLE Works performance
