Role

West Lothian Drug & Alcohol Service is a well-established organisation with a history and reputation for delivering a wide range of effective alcohol, drug and tobacco services throughout West Lothian. The Service operates from premises at The Almondbank Centre in Craigshill, Livingston although some home-working in line with Covid-19 restrictions may be required.

We are pleased to be able to expand our Grief Matters service and we are looking to recruit for the following post: Project Worker – Grief Matters This role will provide bereavement counselling and support on a 1-2-1 and groupwork basis for young people aged from 12-18 who have experienced the loss of a loved one or friend. The post will also involve liaison with parents and signposting to appropriate services.

This is a 1-year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension (subject to funding). This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week (0.69FTE). Some evening work and weekend work may be required from time to time.
