An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Support and Care as a Service Coordinator for our Cupar and Balfarg services.
Both services provide flexible support, predominantly for adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health problems and physical disabilities. Some of the individuals we work with have complex care needs, are non-verbal or require Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
We work with the individuals we support to allow them to make the transition from living with family or in a hospital setting to their own home. We assist them to live as independently as possible within our community.
We promote independent living through assistance with everyday tasks such as cooking, finance, housework and social activities. We also support individuals with administering medication, emotional support and personal care.
As our Service Coordinator, you will lead a team to provide the best support we can and make a positive difference in people’s lives. You will be the key link between the individuals we support and their families, our Senior Support Workers, Support Workers and health and social care professionals. And you will assist in the development and growth of our services and our dedicated staff team.
Our organisation has a commitment to PBS.. While knowledge of this person-centred approach would be an advantage, it is not essential as training can be provided by our in-house PBS team.
About you
