Independent Advocacy Worker (Sessional)

We are seeking an Independent Advocacy Worker who has a passion to support local people to have their voices heard and taken into account.

Ideally the person will have experience of working alongside people with disabilities.

The candidate must have experience or interest in supporting and advocating for others. It is essential they are committed to: Human Rights; Social Justice, and; the Principles, Standards & Code of Best Practice for Independent Advocacy.

We are looking for a person with excellent communication and IT skills, who can work independently and also as part of a team.

The post is considered regulated work so is subject to membership of the PVG scheme. Access to a car and ability to travel throughout Angus and further afield is essential.
