We are looking for a highly motivated, person-centred Development Manager to join the Citizen Advocacy Team at Angus Independent Advocacy (AIA). The post holder will manage a small team and lead on the development of the Citizen Advocacy project.
The main aim of the Citizen Advocacy Project is to support people living in Angus to have their voice heard and connect to their local community.
The candidate must have experience of developing projects and leading teams. It is essential they are committed to: Human Rights; Social Justice; and, the Principles, Standards & Code of Best Practice for Independent Advocacy.
We are looking for a person with excellent communication and IT skills, who can work independently and also as part of a team. The post is considered regulated work so is subject to membership of the PVG scheme. Access to a car and ability to travel throughout Angus is essential.
