  • 33 days’ holiday (FTE), including public holidays each year; matched pension contributions up to 5%.

Role

Our vision is that by 2050, young people will be active citizens, having led and accelerated the progress to a just and sustainable society. Since we formed in 2014, we have been working to empower, equip and enable Scotland's young leaders, aged 18-35, to lead action on tackling the climate crisis.

We are volunteer-driven and the majority of our work is delivered by a large committed group of volunteers with key support from our trustees and a small staff team. Since 2016, we have delivered our award-winning Young Leaders Development Programme (YLDP) and our work continues to evolve. More information about our projects can be found on our website

You will be joining 2050 Climate Group at a pivotal moment as we develop and deliver a refreshed strategic vision, due to be launched in 2023.

You will work closely with the Board of Trustees to influence our strategic direction, and then play a key role in implementing it by providing operational leadership.You will lead our small staff team and oversee our day-to-day operations, including the delivery of work plans, finance and HR management, and reporting on our progress.

You will also work closely with the Board of Trustees to help manage and develop successful external stakeholder and funder relationships.
