Role

Funded through the Pupil Equity Fund (PEF), Barnardo's Lanarkshire Attachment and Nurture Service provides specialist supports to children, young people and families (CYP), who are living with adverse circumstances which are impacting on their health, wellbeing and attainment. We are currently recruiting for two 37 hour Project worker 2 posts to join our team. These posts are fixed term until 31 August 2023. There is the potential for the posts to become permanent.

Based within the Motherwell office, successful candidates will work within a specialist team, providing community and school based support across Lanarkshire.

Applicants should have the following:

  • Experience of working alongside children, young people and families with a range of complex issues including child protection.
  • Experience of partnership working with a range of agencies.
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes
  • Be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends when required
  • carry out duties as per job profile.
