You will be joining a busy team supporting children and young people going through the Children’s Hearings System. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF), a values-based organisation, that supports children and adults of all genders affected by Childhood Sexual Abuse. We are recruiting an Administrator with excellent inter-personal and organisational skills to join our existing team at our base in Airdrie. A warm nature and previous admin experience are very important for this role. A sound understanding of the third sector would be beneficial.

This 12 month fixed term position is for 21 hours per week. On-going funding will be sought to extend the post. Days and hours to be negotiated, evening work will be required on a regular basis.

The Moira Anderson Foundation is a Real Living Wage employer. The salary is £21,840 pro rata, per annum, this will increase to £22,932 from 1 April. As Project Coordination Assistant you’ll be responsible for administration for a number of fuel poverty related projects that work directly with project delivery partner organisations from within our charity’s membership and the funders of these activities. You will ensure that project reporting is compiled to enable the projects to support low income, vulnerable and fuel poor households in Scotland.

You’ll be curious, driven, impact-focused with attention to detail, passionate about “doing the right thing” and ensuring that Energy Action Scotland continues to be able to delivery it’s key aim of helping vulnerable fuel poor households in Scotland.

Energy Action Scotland secures funds through grants, donations and contracts to help people who are unable to heat and power their homes to a safe standard for their health and wellbeing. Over 1 in 3 households need help, many with underlying health conditions or needs that should mean they are warmer for longer, but this is out of reach for far too many people.
